Ruthanne Beighley’s enthusiasm is palpable when she says “Monsignor Zeitler was the holiest and kindest man I have ever known. With a desire to honor Monsignor Zeitler who had specially guided and inspired her, Ruthanne established an endowment in his name. She chose as beneficiaries the three parishes he served and the parish ministries he "fostered and loved very much."

“I feel that the endowment in his name and honor with the Catholic Foundation provides a lasting tribute to this gentle and humble man,” she says. “Hopefully, the fund will grow with contributions from others whose lives he touched and whose faith he strengthened.”

The Monsignor Edward J. Zeitler Endowment supports lay ministry training and programming, with a preference for music ministry, at Notre Dame Parish (Sharon), Beloved Disciple Parish (Grove City), and Our Lady, Queen of the Americas Parish (Conneaut Lake).
